Summer Blooms in Autumn

Art in the Parlor:  as days grow shorter and gardens fade, Summer Blooms in Autumn will grace the white stucco walls of the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church of Canton, Massachusetts with brilliant color.  Six artists will share how they have captured summer flowers in perpetual bloom through photography, paints and textiles.

International Artist Collaboration Flows

A few years back, I had the pleasure of getting to know Hsin-Chen Lin while returning her work from a PAQA-South exhibit.  We talked about organizing an exhibit with both members of Professional Art Quilters Alliance – South in the US and Taiwan Art Quilt Society in Taiwan, ROC.  ARTQUILTSrivers is the result of that conversation.

Comprised of twelve panels with a river visually flowing from one panel the next, ARTQUILTSrivers illustrates the natural flow of artful communication that takes place in all societies.  Each artist is celebrated for their unique point of view, yet they all show harmoniously together.

Congratulations to all the artists of ARTQUILTSrivers!
